Inclosing the cabin

With winter fading away we are making some progress on putting the cabin top back on. The clear shrink wrap really warms up the inside when the sun shines, often enough to work without a shirt on. The last 3 weeks have been productive with getting lumber, epoxy and setting the roof and companionway bulkhead in place. The jinked name has been removed and will not be mentioned here. The removal of the cabin top paint and the teak trim proved to be a real challenge. The paint needed a angle grinder to remove and the teak trim that was screwed in every 2 inches was also sealed with what seems to be RTV silicone seal. The trim came off in splinters. The port lights have so much sealant on them they may need to be cut out. Progress should move along now that we have some warm weather coming. It already is looking better.
